IFME with the support of Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare (MLSW), organized training "Digital Marketing and SMM (Social Media Marketing)"

The Institute for Free Market Economics (IFME), with the support of the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare (MLSW), gives to a unique opportunity to acquire digital skills on the topic: Digital Marketing and SMM (Social Media Marketing), trends of 2021.
These trainings were offered for free as interactive online trainings, for new jobs that require aspiring technology enthusiasts. Participants must be unemployed, students or university graduates looking for work and who can use this opportunity to increase their chances of employment.

IFME with the support of Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS) organized training "Career Development through Soft Skills"

With the support of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS), the Institute for Free Market Economics (IFME) organized the training called “Career development through soft skills” which was dedicated to all young women aged 18 to 24 years old, coming from the rural areas of the Municipality of Prishtina. The purpose of this training was to prepare the beneficiaries with the Soft Skills training for the labor market, to prepare for job interviews in communication and presentation and to create skills to operate in a way as successful and effective as possible in their workplaces.

IFME Institute publishes research “Impact of COVID-19 on Foreign Direct Investment in Kosovo and Western Balkan Countries”

The Institute for Free Market Economy (IFME) with the support of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS), today, November 19, publishes research on “Impact of COVID-19 on Foreign Direct Investment in Kosovo and the Western Balkans”. This paper aims to address the impact of COVID on economic indicators and FDI in the Western Balkan countries, possible scenarios of events and their reflections in Kosovo.

MFK’s Women Energy Entrepreneurs in (WEE)
Programme - Business Acceleration and Grant Support

IFME has been selected a local partner in the implementation of the Mentoring Program “Women Business Propulsion Program” to be provided by Miller Center as an additional component for larger women owned companies interested in the Energy Efficiency Subsidies programme under MFK’s Women Energy Entrepreneurs. This program will provide targeted coaching and technical assistance to a group of women entrepreneurs in developing and developing a detailed business plan and financial model that documents:

How women entrepreneurs plan to grow their business How energy efficiency investments will strengthen their business. How will a grant for technical solutions that improve the efficient use of energy be invested?

This business acceleration and coaching program will be an added value component available to women entrepreneurs that ultimately plan to invest in modern technologies, supported by a grant subsidy provided under the Women Energy Entrepreneurs programme of MFK.

FOREIGN DIRECT INVESTMENT IN KOSOVO
The Investment Climate, Potential and Barriers

The IFME Institute in support of Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS) has conducted a research on “Foreign Direct Investment in Kosovo, Investment Climate, Potentials and Barriers”, the results of which are expected to be published on the occasion of the organization of the conference on this topic.

The purpose of this research report is to stimulate debate on the present state of FDI and its significance by analyzing the barriers that foreign investors face and by launching a broad based debate on the problems currently faced by FDI inflows in Kosovo as well as on policy measures to overcome them and subsequent precautionary measures (post-investment refers to post-investment services) for existing investors in order to maintain and expand their investment (re -investments).

Communication (ICT) sector research in Kosovo with the topic COMPREHENSIVE ANALYSIS OF THE ICT SECTOR IN KOSOVO, overall picture of the sector dynamics after approval of the IT National Strategy.

The ICT sector is deemed to be a key economic sector in Kosovo, but currently, there is no clear picture of the health of the ICT eco-system.. Informal evidence suggests that the sector is growing rapidly, and that the competitiveness of the ICT sector in Kosovo may reach that of neighboring countries. However, official data is often contradictory and unreliable.

The purpose of the research is to provide a comprehensive analysis and a clear overview of the current state of the ICT ecosystem, the results of which are expected to be published on the occasion of the conference on this topic
